There are two big take-aways from Game Night – the popular comedy movie released in cinemas earlier this year, which is now available to buy on DVD. Firstly, Emmy winner Kyle Chandler should add more comedy to his curriculum vitae, and secondly, the whole thing bodes very well for DC’s Untitled Flash Film, which is scheduled for 2020. That’s because Game Night directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have been tapped to take the helm of that big budget comic book movie – and their work here suggests that it will not only be visually arresting, but that it will also challenge some of the sexist conventions evident in most Hollywood projects.
