Ivory Butler loves reading and writing poetry and has won Gold Keys and Silver Keys for her poems in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards (2014-16). Her favorite poet is Maya Angelou. Other writers she likes include Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters, Craig Butler, Neil Gaiman, Jeanne Birdsall, and Louisa May Alcott. Ivory hopes her poems will bring joy to her readers and she is thrilled to have the option of donating proceeds through Channillo for Charity to help others.
