“Guys, Hope needs that energy.”

“We know that,” Lu said. “We just don’t trust them to distribute it fairly since they don’t distribute resources they have now fairly.”

“What do you mean? Everybody gets power and food, air, water and education.”

“Not everyone,” Brian said, coming into the conversation for the first time. “Uncle Miguel says lights at his place only run during shift changes, and at least half the time there’s a distribution, they’re out of food by the time he gets to the front of the line.”
