Hank urged Genny to visit his counselor. His recent session where he released his guilt for bringing Max back to town helped him tremendously. He probably presented a logical point, but therapy was not going to cut it for her given the circumstances. Her husband counseled them both in the not so distant past. She trusted him. Their relationship, both professionally and personally, had been a total nightmare.

The Vandenberg family organized a small memorial service for friends and family at their home in The Hamptons. When Genny noticed Sarah’s presence, she inferred that Max’s ex-wife was the perfect person to speak with about her concerns. She probably knew him better than anyone and could perhaps answer the unresolved questions that plagued her mind.
