The Avesta, also referred as Zoroastrian faith, one of the world's oldest organized faiths, in which  the universe was created by a benevolent, and all-wise deity known as Ahura Mazda, has a rich mythology, with stories and legends populated by unique creatures.

Among these creatures is the Dahdk, a three-mouthed, and six-eyed dragon. Among all the creatures created by Ahriman, the evil spirit of chaos and destruction, the Dahdk was chief, and its sole purpose was to bring about the end of the world.
