Stephen King worked a fairly thoughtful and befitting title when he created the story Needful Things, a novel in 1991 that was adapted into the 1993 movie of the same title, directed by Fraser C. Heston. It’s the story of things that are needed by the characters. But the catch is in the price. Who is ready to pay how much for what they need, or think they need because they want them? As the plot unfolds, viewers may realize the titular meaning has connotations that can serve as a valuable lesson or a code of life.
