"BIG BAD BOB." This is a title championed above the entrance to his basement.  It reminds Bob that though the outside world doesn't understand, the darkness does.  

And this darkness protected Bob's secrets like a well kept secret.  Or as a mother shielding her child behind her back preventing a planetary perception from popping up. If the world saw Bob's little darling, it would be repulsed, judgmental even.  

Bob's night vision googles with a weathered strap exposed to years of wet dog perspiration, humidity and heat, and blood droplets was worn once again around Bob's thick, damp salt and pepperish gray hair.  While movies portrayed the creepy-loner-mistaken-as-a-serial-killer to stereotypically have a hidden basement with a one pull-string ceiling light,...
