Double Booking Book Day

Today started so well. It’s World Book Day and I love the visiting school children, the dressing up, and the general enthusiasm for reading.
I smiled at myself in the mirror before I left for work. I’d decided to dress as Oscar Wilde this year. I borrowed a suit from Tom, added a purple scarf from my mother, wore my hair down, and thanks to a cool pinterest science experiment I managed a green carnation in my lapel. Basically you get a white flower and put it in water with green food dye. It sucks up the coloured water and the petals turn green. Oscar used to wear one in London to show his Irish roots. I’m assuming he had a valet dye the flowers for him.
I, however, do not have servants, a fact which was brought home to me when I entered the library building and found Linda frowning...
