Although English and History were my favourite subjects in school, I also enjoyed Science so this week has been an absolute blast, literally. It’s Science Week and this year we decided to join in.

Linda declared she didn’t understand science so the planning became my job. I tried pointing out that making a cake rise involved chemistry and measuring ingredients used maths but she may have realised I tempt her by shoe-horning baking into every task.

Thankfully Pinterest came to my aid with science quizzes for all ages. Our regular crossword fans loved the science crossword I found. I emailed a copy to Basil and Sally and they did it at Basil’s house.
