Facing our enemy

 

Over the next few weeks we spent most days working with Bendae and Delklin. Bendae was very charming and extremely passionate about life. He shared his life story with Cassey and I. I cried later in my private chambers as I thought of his loss of family by the Dragoon. I did not want them to see me cry, showing my weakness. I felt like a silly child as I lay there sobbing. I think it was my emotions of my own loss of my husband and then most recently of Aboa. My lack of grieving for them had finally caught up to me. Plus I was pregnant now. I noticed my emotions were amplified.
