Logan came to within a few inches of Arrin, his hand resting on his still holstered weapon. “Make no mistake, clone. Just because we haven’t beaten you doesn’t mean we aren’t willing to take the measures necessary to control you if needed.”

Arrin glowered at him. “If you try to put your albino hands on me, you’ll be the one who suffers. You can count on it.”

Cody and Logan both drew their lasers. “Are you making a threat, clone?” Cody asked.

“Yes,” Arrin said, his expression taunting them to do something about it.

Logan’s finger tickled the trigger of his laser. “Perhaps a stun shot, or two, would improve your attitude.”
