Arrin paced his room in agitation. It was well past dinnertime. Sterling should have returned by now. He decided to go downstairs and wait for him so he could spirit him off to a shadowed corner where Sterling could hand over the PMZ unnoticed by the others. Later tonight, after everyone was asleep, he’d finally be able to ease his annoying constant craving. His pulse quickened in anticipation just thinking about the release awaiting him. He left his room and bounded down the stairs full of hope.
