Although it was apparent Arrin had been about to leave, Clayton made no comment on it. “Good morning. Would you like some coffee before breakfast?”

“I already ate, and I hate coffee,” Arrin snapped.

Clayton opened the refrigerator and pulled out a pitcher of orange juice. “How about some orange juice?” He didn’t wait for an answer, but poured a full glass and handed it to Arrin.

He took it, reluctantly. He wasn’t crazy about orange juice either. Apple juice would’ve been better, and hot chocolate even better, but he was too proud to say so.

“Drink all of it now. You need the vitamin C.”

“I’d like some coffee,” Ron said.
