Chapter Twenty-Seven

Arrin was foot-sore and exhausted, so he decided to steal a car. He scoped one out and approached it, but his conscience started bothering him, so deciding he had enough of a guilty burden to carry already he abandoned the theft and instead decided to risk being recognized and buy a car instead. He bought a newspaper from a corner newsstand and searched the used car advertisements, and several hours later he was the satisfied owner of a suitably nondescript and inexpensive white station wagon.
