Tracine smiled and returned to Peter, who came to his feet to take her into his loving embrace.

Arrin wondered if it would always hurt to see their loving interactions. He swallowed hard then nodded to Pastor Willis and Dale, indicating he was ready to go.

As the Pastor and Dale arose, Peter released Tracine. “Arrin, I’d very much like it if you’d visit us often.”

“Oh yes. Please say you will,” Tracine said.

Arrin looked to Pastor Willis, unsure if he was allowed to visit colonists now since the dictates of his exile were stricter.

Pastor Willis smiled and nodded.
