Kate was picking at her food and pretending she was enjoying the meal when the doorbell rang.  She stood up from her chair and informed June she could answer it.  When she saw Leo standing in front of her, she was taken aback.

The relieved smile that spread across his face when he saw her lit up the world.  He grabbed her up in his arms and spun her around.  As soon as he sat her down, he scolded, “Why didn’t you answer your phone?”

She replied gruffly, “I didn’t feel like talking to anyone, much less you.”

“Oh, Princess, you’re definitely going to talk to me.”

“Leo, please just leave.  I can’t deal with you right now.”
